PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device capable of enhancing electromagnetic shielding effect, in an electromagnetic shielding structure, using a conductive film and a back cover. SOLUTION: The plasma display device includes the conductive film arranged to cover the front surface of a plasma display panel; a conductive back cover covering the back side of the plasma display panel; and a frame, arranged to surround the circumference of the plasma display panel and supporting the plasma display panel and the back cover. The edge of the conductive film, projecting to the circumference of the front surface of the plasma display panel, is electrically and directly connected to the back cover. Thus, the back cover and the conductive film can be directly connected to each other, without making the frame interpose, so that the contact resistance is reduced and the electromagnetic shielding effect is enhanced.
