PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body that can attain reduction in the number of components, saving a space and a thinner and smaller body. SOLUTION: A symbol 5 is formed, by layering via a required base film 3 on the surface of a substrate layer 2 facing a light source 1 for UV-rays, as well as, the symbol 5 is formed of a coating composition that varies coloring of a pigment, depending on irradiation with natural light which is sun rays, artificial light or UV light, and a light-transmitting protective layer 6, having stain-preventing properties is layered on the surface of the symbol 5. As coloring of the symbol 5 varies in three colors, depending on irradiation with the sun rays, artificial light or UV light, the need for installing a plurality of light sources is dispensed with, according to the coloring, such as three kinds of light sources.
