PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately evaluate the strength of a corner part by suppressing that a large load is locally charged on one end of a flange piece during a strength test, in a flange piece strength testing device. SOLUTION: The flange piece strength testing device includes a mounting device 1 that grips a first end 10b of a planar flange piece 10 whose both ends are interconnected via the corner part, and sets the direction crossing the front and back surfaces of the first end 10b as the mounting direction, and a fixing part 2 for gripping and fixing a second end 10c of the flange piece 10. The mounting device 1 includes a first gripping tool 1a for gripping the first end 10b of the flange piece 10, a rod part 1b moving in the mounting direction, and a first connection part 1c journaled to the first gripping tool 1a and the rod part 1b.
