PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact testing machine capable of precisely and easily measuring impact strength in the case of collision of an automobile, or the like, and further, accurately and freely setting the deformation speed, when a jointing element, or the like, for composing automobile parts is loaded with impact energy. SOLUTION: The impact testing machine 1 executes impact test, by allowing an impact body 3 to collide with an impact block 6. In the impact testing machine, high-pressure air supplied to inner-layer side cylinder spaces 27 is twice larger than that supplied between outer-layer side cylinder spaces 26, and the speed of the impact body 3 to be discharged can be adjusted, by adjusting at least one air pressure from among high-pressure airs supplied to the inner-layer side cylinder space 27 that constitutes a shooting machine 4 and high-pressure air supplied to the outer-layer side cylinder spaces 26.
