PURPOSE: A PCM current differential relay is provided to shorten an unprotected time while rapidly securing the synchronization between a GPS synchronous signal and a sampling pulse even when one of GPS signals is returned a normal condition. CONSTITUTION: In a PCM current differential relay, one part of a GPS signal has a normal reception condition. The PCM current differential relay in a normal side synchronizes a sampling timing with the GPS signal. The PCM current differential relay in a normal side synchronizes a sampling timing with the GPS signal. The PCM current differential relay in an abnormal side synchronizes a sampling timing with the sampling timing of the PCM current differential relay in the normal side.
