PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing machine setting a diameter of a processed workpiece to be constant, even when processing a different diameter workpiece having a step. SOLUTION: The processing machine 1 is equipped with: a self-excitation discharge power source device 2 for discharging by impressing voltage on a wire electrode 21; an NC device 3 for rotating the columnar workpiece around the axis and moving the wire electrode 21 along the axial direction of the workpiece; and a control device 4 for controlling a speed for moving the wire electrode 21, and processes the workpiece by discharging by the wire electrode 21.
