<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and communication conference system, wherein image display relating to a plurality of pieces of received image data can be performed with appropriate display quality. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal device 5a displays on a display panel 55 a plurality of windows side by side, images picked up by cameras 52 of the respective terminal devices 5a participating in a communication conference are displayed in respective windows, respectively, and when a user utilizes an input part 61 to perform operation on a window or on an image displayed in a window, display quality of the image in the window of the operation object is improved. The terminal device 5a specifies a user who is a speaker in the communication conference on the basis of received voice data, and display quality for an image of the user is improved.
