<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device wherein the sensitivity is high and the edge effect is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The coupling device for at least one optical fibre (10 and 12) is for optical tomography-type examination of a medium (11) to be examined.
