<p>PURPOSE: A display apparatus, a power supply apparatus and a power supply method thereof are provided to secure the stability of a user for residual voltage when removing a power code and minimize the power waste resulting from the use of a discharging device. CONSTITUTION: A signal reception unit(11) receives an image signal, and a signal processing unit(12) which processes the image signal received by the signal reception unit. A display unit(13) displays an image based on the image signal processed by the signal processing unit. A power supply unit(18) supplies operating power to the display by inputting AC power. The power supply unit includes a discharging device which discharges residual voltage of the power supply unit when stopping the input of the AC power, and a discharging circuit unit which blocks the power consumption of the discharging device when inputting the AC power.</p> |
