摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, in which a sensor is mounted for detecting whether an opposed apparatus is in a communicable range of near-field communication of TJ (TransferJet(R)) or the like, for performing power saving control on a near-field communication section by controlling activation of the near-field communication section based on output of the sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A proximity sensor 6 is mounted on the same surface as a TJ coupler 5 and measures a distance to the opposed apparatus. If the distance is within 3 cm, a control section 9 turns on power supply to a TJ circuit 2. If a state where the distance is longer than 3 cm continues for 10sec, a notification is issued to a user to approach. If the distance is within 3 cm and there is no response from the opposed apparatus, a TX3 and an RX4 are periodically turned on, thereby performing power saving of the TJ circuit 2.
