<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely transfer heat from a heat generation part to an impeller to preferably improve heat radiation performance, particularly, in high-speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: The supercharger 10 includes: a centrifugal compression part 22 having an impeller 24; a rotational shaft 26 connected to the impeller 24; a motor part 20 having a stator 14 and a rotor 18 disposed to a casing 12; and a journal air bearing 28a. The journal air bearing 28a is provided with a cylindrical member 36 and a heat conduction part 48 fitted to an internal space 40 of the cylindrical member 36. The heat transfer part 48 is constituted of a member lower in rigidity and higher in thermal conductivity than the cylindrical member 36, and the impeller 24 radiates heat transferred through the heat conduction part 48 to the air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
