<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire of high quality, causing neither inclination nor torsion to a luminaire body by making total weight well-balanced. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire 10 includes: the luminaire body 13 holding a light source 12; a stabilizer 18 for lighting a light source 12 in general, and an emergency light block 19 for lighting the light source 12 in an emergency; a monitor lamp indicating the charged amount of a battery for emergency lights; an inspection switch 21 for confirming the charged amount; and an emergency light box 16 storing the stabilizer 18, the emergency light block 19, the monitor lamp and the inspection switch 21.
