METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPAIRING BOLT HOLE OF SHAFT COUPLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a means capable of quickly and accurately repairing a partially worn bolt hole without removing a flange-shaped shaft coupling from a rotating shaft.

SOLUTION: An apparatus for repairing includes: a centering tool member 16 for centering a bolt hole 13 to be repaired; an adjustable reamer 17 for cutting an inner peripheral surface of the bolt hole 13; and a holding base 18 having a holding part 25 on which the centering tool member 16 or the adjustable reamer 17 is selectively and replaceably mounted and a base 26 having a structure fixed to an outer peripheral surface of one of a pair of rotating shafts coupled via the shaft coupling 9 for linearly moving the holding part having the centering tool member 16 or the adjustable reamer 17 attached in an axial direction of a centering part 19 of the centering tool member 16 or in an axial direction of the adjustable reamer 17 while an axis line of the centering part 19 of the centering tool member 16 or an axis line of the adjustable reamer 17 aligns with a center axis line of an inner peripheral diameter of the bolt hole 13. The apparatus is used for repairing.
