<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more contribute to safe driving without making a driver feel incongruity. <P>SOLUTION: This night visual range support device for a vehicle is provided with: an infrared camera which picks up the front of a vehicle; a main display on which an image picked up with the infrared camera is displayed; a subdisplay which is different from the main display; and a control means for determining whether a pedestrian exists in the image displayed on the main display, and controlling the subdisplay so as to perform reminder display when it is determined that the pedestrian exists, wherein the control means estimates or detects whether the pedestrian who no longer exists on the image displayed on the main display exists within a visual field range of the driver, and controls the subdisplay so as to perform the reminder display also when it is estimated or detected that the pedestrian who no longer exists in the image displayed on the main display exists in the visual field range of the driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
