PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To urge a friction pad to one side in the radial direction of a disk, also to urge the pad even in a direction in which the pad is separated from the disk, and to achieve size reduction and weight reduction. SOLUTION: A back plate 6 of the friction pad 5 has spring members 13 and 14 near a pair of lugs 6A. The spring members 13, 14 integrally have return springs 13B, 14B and radial springs 13C, 14C extended in different directions from circumferential edges of fixing plates 13A, 14A fixed to the backplate 6 of the friction pad 5 via a caulking part 6B. The return springs 13B, 14B have tips that abut on the surface of a seat plate 12 by elastic deformation to urge the friction pad 5 axially away from the disk 1. The radial springs 13C, 14C are positioned radially inside the disk 1 to urge the friction pad 5 radially outward of the disk 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
