<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch pad input device with an antenna, which can secure the sensitivity of the antenna and has fine communication performance even though the antenna is arranged in the vicinity of a shield layer. <P>SOLUTION: The touch pad input device with the antenna includes a shield electrode (42) and the antenna. The shield electrode (42) includes a measuring electrode group, a body part (44) located on a projection area to which the measuring electrode group is projected in a lamination direction of the shield electrode (42), and a plurality of openings (46) located on a non-projection area other than the projection area.
