摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that prevents imperfect image from being displayed right after the device is turned on regardless of ambient temperature. SOLUTION: The device includes: a liquid crystal module 4 with a liquid crystal panel; an LED backlight 6 using an LED as a light source; a temperature sensor 1 that detects the ambient temperature; and a control unit 2 for activating the LED backlight after a delay of time corresponding to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor after activating the liquid crystal module.
