<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacturing a solar cell with organic thin film electromotive force layers. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell 1 is constituted to be arranged on a glass substrate 10 so that multiple solar cell unit cells 2 may pile the respective ends thereof. Each of the unit cells 2 is provided with a conductive base material 3, organic thin-film electromotive force layers 4 laminated on the conductive base material 3, upper electrodes 5 laminated on the organic thin film electromotive force layers 4, and auxiliary electrodes 6 laminated on the upper electrodes 5. The unit cells 2 are arranged on the glass substrate 10 one by one. In this case, ends of the unit cells 2 are piled.
