<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an article inspection apparatus capable of properly determining the excess and deficiency of an article to a prescribed amount even when the feature value related to the image of a good article varies by the difference of the production day or production lot of the article. <P>SOLUTION: An X-ray inspection apparatus 1 includes an X-ray irradiation part 7 for irradiating the article 12 being an inspection target with X rays, an X-ray detection unit 8 for detecting the X rays transmitted through the article 12 and a processing unit 9 forming the X-ray transmission image of the article on the basis of the detection result of the X-ray detection unit 8 and comparing the representative gray scale value related to the image with an upper limit threshold TH2 and a lower limit threshold TH1 to determine the excess and deficiency of the article to the prescribed amount. The processing unit 9 alters the presently set upper limit threshold TH2 and lower limit threshold TH1 on the basis of a plurality of the representative gray scale values obtained by a plurality of the numbers of times of the nearest inspections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
