GOLF SWING-MEASURING METHOD, GOLF CLUB SELECTION METHOD, AND GOLF SWING-MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To understand a correct movement direction of a golf club head with respect to a golf ball and to provide information of a golf club suitable for a measured golf swing when golf swing behavior is measured. SOLUTION: The measuring instrument determines a target driving direction of the golf ball to be struck, and confirms the inclination direction of a surface where the golf ball is located in the target direction on the basis of the reference direction of the measuring instrument when the golf swing behavior is measured. After that, the measuring instrument measures a value of a first approach angle relating to an azimuth direction based on the target driving direction and a value of a second approach angle relating to a vertical direction based on the inclination direction. The instrument outputs information on the golf swing behavior by using the value of the measured first approach angle and the value of the second approach angle. The instrument also provides the information of the golf club suitable for the measured golf swing on the basis of the value of the measured first approach angle and the value of the second approach angle.
