PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intrusion prevention device for maintenance of a man conveyor which surely detects a third party about to invade in a work fence. SOLUTION: The intrusion prevention device includes: two or more pillars; two or more work fences coupled through the two or more pillars; a vibration sensor provided for the pillar or the work fence; and a photoelectric device which is provided for a pillar, and disposes an optical axis for an object detection to enclose a machine room at a position away from the side surface of the work fence on a horizontal projection plane when the work fence is disposed at the position to enclose the machine room of the man conveyor.
