PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lock enabling the identification data to be easily re-written while assuring the security of each dwelling unit; and also to provide an electric lock system. SOLUTION: This electric lock 10 for unlocking and locking a door includes a photographing device 11 for photographing the outside of the door, a drive part 25 for locking and unlocking the door, a user image memory 21 in which a user image as identification data which is set by the user and used for unlocking the door is recorded, a master image memory 22 in which a master image as common identification data which can unlock also the other doors is recorded, and a control unit 20 which is connected to the photographing device 11, the drive part 25, the user image memory 21, and the master image memory 22, and drives the drive part 25 when the image photographed by the photographing device 11 matches the user image or the master image to controllably unlock the electric lock 10.
