PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester polyol having a polysiloxane skeleton that has high releasability and superior homogeneity, and enables production of polyurethane and polyurethaneurea very useful for application of an elastic fiber, a film and clothing. SOLUTION: This method for producing the polyester polyol having a polysiloxane skeleton is characterized in that a reaction of a polycarboxylic acid (i) which has the polysiloxane skeleton and a plurality of carboxyl groups with a polyether polyol (ii) is carried out to form an ester between the carboxyl group of the former (i) and a hydroxyl group of the latter (ii).
