PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system that prevents a miss-operation due to incorrect setting of a wireless microphone and can automatically read various kinds of parameters relating to the wireless microphone according to a user. SOLUTION: An ID receiving part 50 of a transmitter receives user ID data stored in a contactless information medium. A receiver side receives an audio signal and ID data transmitted by the transmitter in a receiving part R, and a control part 60b extracts ID data therefrom and reads out data relating to an individual which comprises various kinds of parameter setting values relating to user's name and audio processing from a storage part 70b on the basis of the ID data for display on a liquid crystal display part 80.
