PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discontinue a log-in state unless it is necessary, thereby reliably making an image forming apparatus in a log-out state for improving information security performance. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an identification information acquisition part acquiring identification information; a storage part storing authentication information; and an operation input part. The operation input part receives an execution starting instruction for a job to be carried out by the image forming apparatus when use of the image forming apparatus is allowed and log-in is permitted based on the identification information and the authentication information. When it is in the log-out condition, the operation input part does not receive the execution starting instruction for the job.
