PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a single-axis two-operation type zoom lens which may confuse a photographer when an operation member having a correlation with the direction and the position inside a view finder is disposed to a turning knob since the correlation is varied according to a turning angle. SOLUTION: In a photographing device, wherein a turning amount of a rotational operation part is used as a drive command for a movable optical member, the operation part includes a plurality of operation switches, a direction determination means determining the direction of a plurality of operation switches with respect to the turning center of the operation part, and a function change means changing the function of a plurality of operation switches according to the direction determined by the direction determination means.
