PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a watch equipped with a conventional music module can only play a single tune, and requires a much space. SOLUTION: The musical module is for a watch movement and includes a barrel 11, at least one part 5 having a pin 12, a comb 13 with a number of tines, a regulation system and a control device. The part 5 or two or more parts 5 are toothed discs driven by the barrel 11 via at least one pinion 6. The toothed disc 5 having the pin 12 on at least one face can be positioned over or underneath the comb 13 so that the pin 12 acts on the tines of the comb 13 for reproducing a tune. The control device is designed to trigger the rotation of the one or more toothed discs 5, in order to start the tune.
