PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high purity oil recovery means of recovering high purity oil from food sludge drainage and a food sludge recovery apparatus for recovering high purity oil from food sludge drainage as well as solid contents. SOLUTION: The high purity oil recovery means includes an oil separating means 10 of separating oil contents 51 from drainage 50 containing food sludge and a suspended matter removing means which is installed downstream of the oil separating means 10 to remove suspended matter 51b from oil contents 51, thus recovering high purity oil 51a. The oil separating means 10 includes a funnel member 15 which is inserted into a suction tube 11 and composed of a funnel-like conical portion 16 with a diameter increasing toward upward and a straight tube portion 17 connected to a lower end of the conical portion 16, and a lifting member 40 which can lift up and down the funnel member 15. The food sludge recovery apparatus 1 includes a precipitate recovery means having a cylinder pump 35 for transporting precipitate sludge-contained drainage near an inner bottom of a drainage tank and a precipitate removing filter 31 for removing precipitate 53b of the precipitate sludge-contained drainage, and a high-purity oil recovery means.
