PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sticking of a cake to a membrane surface even after a long time use, and to easily peel off the stuck cake. SOLUTION: An immersion type membrane cassette includes: a plane-shaped membrane support 101 in which a flow passage is formed where filtered water passes from the outside to the inside; two or more projections 102 disposed on the support so that a turbulent flow of filtered water is generated outside the membrane support; a membrane 103 which covers the outer surface of the membrane and the projections and filters the filtered water; and an outlet 104 from which the filtered water flows out which has been filtered by the membrane and has entered a space inside the membrane support.
