The module (10) has a solar cell (12) for converting radiation energy i.e. sunlight, into electrical energy, and an electrical conductor conducting the electrical energy. An encapsulation unit (14) encases the solar cell to protect the solar cell and comprises glass panes (16) to protect and stabilize the solar cell that is laminated or cast into a layer (22) of embedment material. A body (26''') e.g. cylindrical pin, is fused into the glass panes for conducting the electrical energy through the glass panes or passing an electrical conductor through the glass panes. The body is arranged as an electrically conducting pin that is selected from a cylindrical pin, a tapered dowel pin, or a bolt with a head. An independent claim is also included for a method for fusing a body into glass panes of a solar module. |
