PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell with a terminal which excels in heat resistance and enables reflow-soldering, and which has the minimum footprint, when it is surface-mounted on a substrate. SOLUTION: The electrochemical cell with terminal includes a button-type or coin-type electrochemical cell, with a predetermined height having two cell cases serving as a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and two terminals, respectively welded to the two cell cases for surface-mounting the electrochemical cell onto the substrate. One of the two terminals has a surface A welded to one of the two cell cases, a surface B continuing from the surface A in a cell height direction, and a surface C for soldering continuing from the surface B; the other of the two terminals has a surface welded to the other one of the two cell cases and a surface for soldering continuing from the surface, and the other one of the two terminals does not project out of a circumscribed square; when the square is drawn to circumscribe one of the two cell cases having a larger diameter.
