PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of a fan for cooling a rotary machine, capable of miniaturizing the whole and reducing the assembling man-hours. SOLUTION: A rotary machine includes: a rotary shaft; a fan ring provided in the circumferential direction crossing the axial direction of the rotary shaft; and a fan fitted to the fan ring. The fan ring is formed with a projecting grooves in the peripheral surface thereof by both shoulder parts rotating around the peripheral surface. The fan includes: a first pedestal; a second pedestal formed on the first pedestal and having a diameter smaller than that of the first pedestal, and blades fixed onto the second pedestal. A plurality of fans are inserted into the projecting grooves formed by both the shoulder parts rotating around the peripheral surface of the fan ring, and receives a centrifugal load in rotation by engagement of both the shoulder parts and the first pedestal of the fan.
