PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing slurry which uses inexpensive shirasu as a raw material and is suitably used for especially a pavement material and a repairing material for road, or buildings or building materials such as a coated block wall of the building and to provide a solidified body. SOLUTION: The slurry is obtained by kneading 10-80 wt.% water-soluble resin, 10-90 wt.% starch and 10-80 wt.% water, based on 100 wt.% shirasu. The slurry is solidified to obtain the solidified body. For the slurry, 1-80 wt.% volcanic ash or 10-80 wt.% ceramic-based or glass-based balloon particle and 1-50 wt.% photocatalytic material, based on 100 wt.% shirasu can be blended.
