PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor storage device which can execute a compaction operation by one command from a CPU. SOLUTION: The semiconductor storage device includes a queuing buffer (26) for queuing a command of a nonvolatile memory, a read means (#102) for issuing a read command for the nonvolatile memory, a separation means (#104) for separating a data read out from the nonvolatile memory by the read means, into a user data and a management data, a write command issuing means (#110) for issuing a write command after adding an address indicated by write pointer information of managing a write address of the nonvolatile memory, to the management data obtained by the separation means, to be automatically queued to the queuing buffer, and a write means (#114) for giving the write command issued by the write command issuing means to the nonvolatile memory, and for writing the data into the nonvolatile memory.
