PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for generating radiographic images, which can prevent deterioration of imaging performance in a region where absorption contrast of radiation is low, even when an irradiating part provided opposite to a radiation detector is moved to a plurality of positions. SOLUTION: A radiographic image producing device includes: an irradiated dose determining part 120 which determines an irradiation dose at the respective irradiating positions so that a reached dose at a reference position 110 on the radiation detector 12 can become constant; and a radiation controller 28 which makes an irradiating part 20 send radiation 26 in accordance with the irradiating position based on the irradiation dose determined by the irradiated dose determining part 120.
