PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of shortening a standby time before a start of printing and suppressing dispersion in printing quality, and a liquid jetting apparatus. SOLUTION: The control device includes a discharge control means 55 for controlling to discharge liquid in a passage of a liquid jet head 1 from a nozzle opening before the start of carrying out printing on a jetted medium by ejecting a heated liquid filled in the passage of the liquid jet head 1 from the nozzle opening, to heat the liquid jet head 1 with the heated liquid until the liquid jet head 1 reaches a printing temperature and to stop the discharge of the liquid from the nozzle opening after the liquid jet head 1 reaches the printing temperature.
