PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer removing bacteria adhering to an indoor wall surface etc., and an air cleaner provided therewith. SOLUTION: The air cleaner includes an air cleaning part 2 to filter air by a filter and a mist supplying part 3 (sterilizer). The mist supplying part 3 includes: a liquid keeping part 5 to keep liquid L with sterilizing action; an atomizing means 6 to atomize the liquid L in the liquid keeping part 5; and a conveying means 7 to convey the mist M atomized by the atomizing means 6.
