EXTENSIBLE MEANS (2, 4) SUCH AS A HYDRAULIC RAM CONNECT THE MEMBERS FOR RELATIVE MOVEMENT OF THE FORWARD MEMBER (1) TOWARD AND AWAY FROM THE REARWARD MEMBER (3). EACH WALL-ENGAGING MECHANISM (20, 50) INCLUDES A PLURALITY OF LEGS (10, 10A, 18) EXTENDABLE OUTWARDLY FROM THE RESPECTIVE MEMBER (1,3) AND A WALL-ENGAGING SURFACE (5, 5') ON OR FIXED TO EACH LEG (10, 10A, 18), ONE ACTUATOR (21) ENGAGES EACH OF THE LEGS (10, 10A, 18) FOR COORDINATED EXTENSION OF THE LEGS (10, 10A 18) TO BRING EACH WALL- ENGAGING SURFACE(5, 5') INTO CONTACT WITH THE WALL OF THE CONDUIT (14). PREFERABLY A ROTARY CUTER (6) IS MOUNTED AT THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE FOR CLEARING OBSTRUCTIONS IN THE CONDUIT (14).
