The invention relates to an automatic device for diffusing a fragrance by evaporation, in particular in the cabin of a motor vehicle and in other enclosures, as well. According to the invention, the device comprises an interchangeable reservoir (1) containing a fragrance, an absorbing element (4) permitting fragrance diffusion to a plug (6) and a cord (9) passed through a wood sphere (10), for stabilization, on the neck of the reservoir (1), a plastic supporting element (3) being mounted for supporting the absorbing element (4), said supporting element (3) having at its top part a collar (5) which rests on the neck of the reservoir (1) and is continued, at its bottom part, with a cylindrical surface (a) corresponding to the size of the inner diameter of the neck of the reservoir (1), in a circular surface in the horizontal plane of the collar (5) there being cut some orifices (b) for collecting and for returning into the reservoir (1) the excess fragrance in the plug (6), which is diffused to the exterior either by some evaporation channels (c) cut into the plug (6), or by the plug (6) itself imbibed with the said fragrance, the plug (6) having an inner cavity which allows it to be mounted onto the reservoir (1). |
