The invention relates to an electrostatic motor with rolling and flexible rotor able to develop relatively large torques at low speeds, down to several rotations per minute without using mechanical reducers. According to the invention, the motor comprises a flexible conducting disk (1) fastened on a shaft (2), by means of a hub (3), the shaft is supported on some sliding bearings (4 and 5), each placed on a shield ( 6 and 7), the thus constructed rotor being connected at one of the poles of the power supplying source, by means of a sliding contact (8), being under the action of the electrostatic forces generated by some electrodes (9) placed on an electrically insulated support (10) and covered by an electrically insulated layer and which are successively excited by some voltage pulses generated according to a pre-established logics by a pulse generator (D). |
