METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR MODELLING THE BEHAVIOUR OF THIN SHEETS IN THE DRAWING PROCESS WITH RETENTION RIBS

The invention relates to a method for building a reduced model which describes the behaviour of thin sheets during the drawing process and to an equipment which may be used for implementing the method. According to the invention, the method consists in building a reduced model by decomposing the process in elementary processes, in programming and running an experimental program by means of which there is obtained a data base, in carrying-out the variable clustering by using causal relations and finally there are carried out the construction of the elementary models and the general model of the process. The claimed equipment contains the element (1) for deforming the punch and the element (2) for deforming the die which are changeable, the frames (3, 4 and 5) which retain the test specimen with forces F1, F2 and F3, respectively, the pairs of supports (6-7, 8-9 and 10-11) which balance the retention forces F1, F2 and F3, respectively, a base plate (12) which balances the deformation force P, some piezoelectric transducers (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19) and the pairs of screws (20, 21 and 22).
