PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device performing driving support for increased safe driving.SOLUTION: The driving support device 10 for supporting the driving of one's own vehicle by a driver includes: a gazing point detection section 1 to detect a degree of change in the gazing point gazed by the driver; a type determination section 2 to determine a visual recognition type of the driver with respect to the vehicle surroundings based on the degree of change detected by the gazing point detection section 1; and a driving support section 3 to perform the driving support according to the visual recognition type determined by the type determination section 2. Thus, the degree of change in the gazing point gazed by the driver is detected, and the visual recognition type of the driver with respect to the vehicle surroundings is determined based on the detected degree of change, and the driving support according to the determined visual recognition type. |
