PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill change machine coping with a gift certificate return request from a customer by temporarily holding a received gift certificate.SOLUTION: The bill change machine includes: a reception part 101 taking in an input bill and/or the input gift certificate one by one; a dispensing part 106 dispensing the bill and/or the gift certificate; a plurality of storage parts 104a-104c which store the bills by denominations and can deliver the stored bill; a go-around carriage part 102a and connection carriage parts 102b carrying the bill taken in by the reception part; an identification part 103 provided in the carriage part, performing identification counting of the bill and/or the gift certificate; a temporary holding part temporarily holding the gift certificate identified that it is normal by the identification part; and a control part 108 performing control such that prescribed processing is performed to the temporarily held gift certificate based on a money reception instruction and that the temporarily held gift certificate is dispensed from the dispensing part based on a return instruction. |
