PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine oil storage device effectively reducing friction between the rotor of an auxiliary machinery and oil stored in an auxiliary machinery chamber, and additionally contributing to cost reduction without increasing the number of part items.SOLUTION: This oil storage device includes a mechanism chamber 6 having an oil sump 11, and the auxiliary machinery chamber 13 located adjacently to the chamber 6 and storing the auxiliary machinery 15, which are formed in a crankcase 1, and stores oil supplied to the auxiliary machinery chamber 13. In the oil storage device, an oil return hole 52 facing an oil level 12a in the oil sump 11 and allowing the mechanism chamber 6 to communicate with the auxiliary machinery chamber 13 is formed in a partitioning wall 51 between the mechanism chamber 6 and the auxiliary machinery chamber 13; meanwhile, a weir 49 which has an upper end projecting upward beyond the oil level 12a while being raised up from the bottom of the auxiliary machinery chamber 13 and opposed to the peripheral surface of the rotor 35 and which prevents an oil backward flow from the oil return hole 52 to the auxiliary machinery chamber 13, is integrally formed with the crankcase 1. |
