PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining apparatus for a water pipe disposed in a pit, including a power generator housed in the pit.SOLUTION: This draining apparatus includes: a drainpipe 2 installed in the pit P and extended from the water pipe 1; and a valve device 3 for opening and closing the drainpipe 2, wherein the apparatus has a function of discharging the staying water in the water pipe 1 to outside through the drainpipe 2. A cylindrical casing 10 is disposed vertically in the pit P, and a turbine T freely rotating around the vertical axis and the power generator 23 disposed above the turbine T are provided in the casing 10. The drainpipe 2 is communicated with the casing 10 on the side of the turbine T so that the water from the drainpipe 2 rotates the turbine T. The water is discharged to outside through a discharge port 12 provided at the lower end of the casing 10. According to this configuration, in introducing a hydraulic power generation apparatus for effectively utilizing hydraulic power energy in drainage, it is possible to attain a draining apparatus adequately housed in a narrow space at the level of the pit (the valve chest) P excavated in the ground. |
