PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device which surely prevents intrusion of lubricating oil into a breather chamber.SOLUTION: The device includes a case whose first and second coupling surfaces 66 and 67 make abutting contact with each other, a first rotary shaft whose axial center is included in a common surface with the first and second coupling surfaces 66 and 67 and which includes a first transmission gear, and a second rotary shaft 37 which includes a second transmission gear 39 meshing with the first transmission gear. The breather chamber 145 is partitioned among first and second partition walls 149 and 151 whose surfaces lie along the abutting direction of first and second divided case members 69 and 71 and a third partition wall 153 which intersects with and is coupled to one of the first and second partition walls 149 and 151 and has a depth with respect to the first and second coupling surfaces 66 and 67, and each exterior wall of the first and second divided case members 69 and 71. An opening hole 147 opening the breather chamber 145 is provided in the case. The upper parts of the first and second coupling surfaces 66 and 67 are so formed as to incline to the vertical direction toward the top side of the second transmission gear 39. |
