To seal off a plug-in valve in a housing, use is made of either a continuous interference fit, which leads to leakage after several mounting and dismounting processes, or additional seals. In order both to eliminate additional components and also to ensure reliable sealing after several mounting and dismounting processes, it is proposed that the bore (22) be of stepped design, wherein the bore diameter decreases in the plug-in direction of the valve housing (10) and the outside diameter of the valve housing (10) is stepped such that an interference fit is formed with the respective bore diameter in the regions (36, 40) surrounding the at least one valve seat, whereas the other regions (34, 38, 42) have an outside diameter which is smaller than the radially surrounding bore diameter. Adequate sealing surfaces are thus formed, with a simultaneous reduction of the joining surfaces. |
