PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a preamplifier by a simple method and a device materializing the method.SOLUTION: A statistical information calculation circuit 50 included in a frequency characteristic compensation device, monitors a digital input signal that is inputted from an A/D converter 20 to an adaptive digital filter 30, takes statistics about the signal level thereof or the like, and generates statistical information. A control circuit 60 makes input offset adjustment and gain control of the preamplifier 10 on the basis of the statistical information received from the statistical information calculation circuit 50. |
