<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical dust cover for a disk brake device arranged in a wheel of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of projections 36 juxtaposed in the radial direction of the dust cover are arranged on an opposed surface to a disk rotor 16 of the dust cover 30. Thus, an air current generated between the dust cover and the disk rotor when the vehicle travels, can be exposed to a turbulent flow. A projection group 38 constituted of a plurality of these projections is also arranged in a plurality at an interval in the peripheral direction of the dust cover. Thus, the air current can be formed as the turbulent flow in a plurality of places in the peripheral direction of the dust cover. Thus, this dust cover can expose the disk rotor to the turbulent flow in a relatively wide range, and can efficiently cool the disk rotor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
