<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material with a bottom face not be damaged or with a heat insulation material of the bottom face not be peeled off in constructing the fitting roof material. <P>SOLUTION: In the metal sheet roof material formed by bending a fitting part on the scooping side and a fitting part on the covering side along both end side edges in the width direction of a rectangular main sheet part, the fitting part on the covering part is formed by continuously arranging a rising part on the covering side formed at an extended position from the main sheet part, a substantially horizontal central recessed part on the covering side, and a first protrusion part and a second protrusion part on the covering side situated on both sides with the central recessed part sandwiched therebetween, formed at the extended position of the rising part on the covering side. The first protrusion part comprises a first fitting jaw portion on the covering side formed at the extended position of the rising part on the covering side, a first top side on the covering side substantially horizontally overhung at the extended position of the first fitting jaw portion, a first descending side on the covering side bent from the end of the first top side, and a first inclined side on the covering side formed at a lower edge of the first descending side.
